All our pioneering people value the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). It is an area we are extremely enthusiastic about as we believe in encouraging young people to engage in STEM subjects for their educational development and the future of our industry.

Our range of activities aim to inform, engage, and inspire young people through a variety of initiatives, activities, and opportunities. They include technical demonstrations, career focused learning and mentoring, and presentations.

We’re also offering tours to see some of the technology and equipment we’re developing to achieve clean and sustainable fusion energy.

Wantage MP David Johnston launched our STEM outreach programme in December 2022.

“I am delighted to launch Tokamak Energy’s STEM outreach programme which will link one of Britain’s most exciting, and fast-growing employers directly with our schools. Tokamak Energy is leading the way globally on commercialising fusion energy which will be a crucial part of the next generation’s net zero energy future.”

Our partners

Our volunteers are working with STEM Learning (an organisation dedicated to improving young people’s lives through the power of science, technology, engineering and maths), the Milton Park Engagement Group, OxLEP, Oxfordshire Advanced Skills and others to roll-out the programme to schools and groups across the region.
